Building Pride in the Heart of Lanark

This Not For Profit is to continue to build pride in the heart of our community, namely, the Lanark downtown commercial district.

The specific Purposes and Objectives are:

1)To restore and maintain stability and safety of the Shumway Building; 

2)To refurbish the Shumway building to create a marketable structure, while maintaining the historical integrity of the building, as well as the whole Lanark downtown area; 

3)Promote profitable business enterprises in the Shumway Building;  and

4)Continue to help existing businesses restore and maintain their downtown buildings to further Lanark’s economic development and prosperity.
